Our thanks go to Margaret and Ludolf van Haasteren for donating their Mercedes van to The Hope Fund in order that it be primarily used to transport dogs to Germany for rehoming and also very importantly to transport the car boot items to Espiche every 3rd Sunday. We couldn’t do without it, and so far it has helped to relocate at least 40 dogs to new loving homes in Germany.
To the vets and nurses of the Clinica Veterinaria do Ferrel, Espiche for always being there when I, or the animals need them, which is often. I owe you big time.
The Nandi Fund Charity Shop for paying for an unaccountable amount of neutering for animals with no owner, when there just wasn’t enough money in The Hope Fund.
Lis and Colin Wells and their friends in the UK for donating the money to cover the costs of The Hope Fund becoming legal. A huge thank-you for that! And to Lis and Colin themselves for using their holiday time to trap cat colonies that need neutering.
Terry Walker from the UK who has become a good friend and supporter and paid for the much needed dog trap and cat cage doors! Many a dog and cat has been saved by your generosity. Thank you!
Doug and Brenda Clarke for organising the annual golf tournament at Boavista Golf every January. Without the money you have raised through this tournament via your friends and acquaintances The Hope Fund could NEVER have helped so many animals. Yours is the biggest donation of the year, not to mention the bags of food, and car boot items that you supply. Thank you.

Luis Tomas for the complete construction and detailing of The Hope Fund constitution and legalising of the charity. DAVID without whom I could not do this “job”. If it wasn’t for David I would never be able to dash off at the drop of a hat when an animal needed me. There would be no one to watch Saskia and look after the animals in our care. He is the one who helps me clean and care for the animals and is there if I cannot be. He is long suffering of all I do and never complains. Thank you.
